The fine print, taken seriously
What we record
When you log a serving with a bartender's daily code, the Club records the venue, the date, and the serving number (1–5). This is consumption data tied to your identity — sensitive by nature, and treated that way: encrypted at rest and never shown to other members. Staff at a hall you visit can see your name and serving counts in that hall's own ledger. No venue is ever shown your activity at any other hall.
What we never do
No leaderboard by volume. No public totals. No rewards for drinking more. The daily cap of five is enforced by the server and cannot be overridden by staff, charm, or reinstalling the app.
Retention & deletion
Consumption records are retained while your membership is active. Account deletion requests anonymize your ledger rather than silently erasing it (venues may need aggregate records for compliance). A formal retention schedule will be published before public launch. To request deletion, contact the Club.
The parody clause
The Hunderberg Club is a fictional club and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any real digestif brand. The five-per-day rule, however, is entirely sincere.
